After being on "The Smart Phone Diet" for a week I've lost 4.4LBS which is great progress, but I have to admit I was hoping to have lost more. But when I consider that I lost that 4.4LBS without counting calories, no major restrictions, no pills, no shakes, and I didn't even exercise in any major way, I started thinking...
Why is it that most of us scorn our scale more often than not when we get on it, vs. giving it a mental hug, and say thanks for hanging in there with me.
I know that might sound a little silly, but to illustrate my point take a look below and see what can happen between you and your scale if you could average losing 4LBS, 3LBS, 2LBS, 1LB or even just a 1/2 a LB a week over a years time.
Too often we scorn and sabotage our little weight loss successes, when if we kept in mind how those little successes really can add up to a very big success.
Yes we need to change what we eat, but the best pathway to making that happen is to first change the way we think.
