This past Sunday in less than an hour I was able to read cover to cover an advance reading copy of "The Full Plate Diet."
In their words "THE FULL PLATE DIET rests on a single fulcrum - dietary fiber. Once considered the dry and tasteless bran foods favored by grandmothers, fiber is now being rediscovered for it's enormous health benefits. Found in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans and nuts, dietary fiber has no calories, benefits beyond weight loss, and perhaps, best of all, allows you to fill your plate, and your stomach, while still dropping weight."
Easy to read, visually interesting and motivating, "The Full Plate Diet" may have cracked the code in getting more of us to actually start seeking out and eating more fiber rich recipes, menus and meals. I know I'm going to being working my "weigh" towards getting their suggestion of 40 grams of dietary fiber into my diet everyday.
I'm so motivated by what they've shared that I've decided to add additional updates as "The Full Plate Diet" story and community unfolds, and I'm also adding a "Fiber Rich" category to the mypetfat blog.
"The Full Plate Diet" officially releases in January 2010 but they've been gracious enough to offer an advance reading copy to anyone who requests it.
Thumb through it... Be Impressed... Try the diet.
