I really loved Dr. Beck's last book, "The Beck Diet Solution" and the accompanying workbook. But it still amazes me that she's still really the only credible voice out there that is highlighting the fact that all of our issues about weight gain and weight loss are all in our head [first].

Yes there are metabolic factors that affect each one of us differently, but the connection between our thinking and our size, shape and ultimate wellness is much more affected by our thinking than anything else.
