
Over the weekend I got a chance to read the short intro to Dr. Beck's Diet Solution Workbook so I could hit the ground running first thing Monday morning and that's exactly what I did, "Pink" cover and all.
I loved her first book but I have to say that I think this book will not only be a big hit for her loyal fans, it actually might be an even easier catalyst to get people to try her approach. The workbook format makes it very easy to get started right away and even though I'm only a day into the book, skimming ahead I can see it's going to be a lot of fun to work with.
I especially loved the perforated cards that come in the back of the book.
Even I didn't really need to start a "diet" until Day 14 I started this morning with my usual routine.
Time at the gym in the morning, in this case I did 20 mins on the treadmill to warm up and then the next 40 mins was an upper body weight training. As far as what I'm eating, its just pretty much clean whole foods doing my best to stay away from as much processed food as I can.
Oh, and as I mentioned last week, I'm test driving one of our new 30LB MY-LBS t-shirts as I "DECLARE IT, WEAR IT and SHARE IT" at the gym to chart my next 30LB weight loss with the help of Dr. Beck's CBT thinking.
Sounds interesting. I just might check it out.
